Description
1. Project Manager
(PM) will be responsible for the functioning of the entire project and will
report to DGM (CPIM) at Head Office & also Project Director based at the
Regional office.

2. He must be pro active in anticipating issues which will assist in the
timely/earlier completion of the project.
 
3. He will be responsible for the day to day activities of the site.

4. He will ensure the completion of the entire project within the stipulated
period of the contract .

5. PM will prepare program of works for the project in liaison with PD(Project
Director) and submit it for approval by the management before it is submitted
to the Client.

6. He will be responsible for the recruitment of staff at site as per the
requirement enlisted in the contract with the client. However necessary
assistance will be provided by the HR department from the Head Office.

7. He will be responsible for the preparation and timely submission of bills to
the client and necessary follow up of the payment.

8. He will coordinate with the client from time to time and write/respond to
NHAI on all site related issues.

9. He will ensure all additional works carried out at site is recorded by the
client and payment is received accordingly.

10. He will be coordinate with all departments at site and coordinate daily
with PD and update the activities carried out at site.

11. He has to conduct regular meetings at site with all departments to ensure
better coordination & to achieve targets.

12. He has to ensure all materials required for the construction of project are
purchased as per the requirement of the contract with prior approval from PD
and if any deviations are required prior permission in writing is taken from
the client.

13. He has to ensure quality of work is not compromised and requirement met as
per the contract.

14. He will prepare the requirements of material for the smooth functioning of
the site and write to Director/PD by the first week of every month for
arrangement of finances accordingly.

15. He will submit daily/weekly /monthly reports on all departments to the
attention of Director/PD/DGM.

16. He will ensure the safety of the staff/laborers and welfare of the staff at
site.

17. He will ensure submission of attendance/salary list of the entire
staff/labours at site by the end of each month to PD/Director for timely
payment.

Education:
(UG – B.Tech/B.E. – Civil) OR (PG – M.Tech – Civil)
CANDIDATE
MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN ROADS / HIGHWAYS ONLY & HAVING AT LEAST 13 YRS OF
EXP IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT & EXECUTION.

He must worked as Project Manager from five years in any road / highway
projects.

The candidate must have passport ready and willing to relocate in Tanzania
within 30 Days.
