Planning
& Reliability Superintendent (previous applicants need not apply)
The Role:
Reporting to the
Manager Assets, this
pivotal role is responsible for providing leadership to
the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, Classified Plant and Reliability
Engineering teams, to ensure all performance targets for KCGM’s Processing
Plants are achieved in a coordinated, cost effective, timely and safe manner.
Key
Accountabilities include:
- Provide
leadership through coaching, mentoring and developmental activities to
members of the team driving a positive workplace culture that reflects
KCGM’s Core Values - Provide
a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring all incidents are
reported and are followed up correctly to minimise and manage risk and
oversee investigations where required, ensuring that the Occupational
Health and Safety Act is complied with at all times - Manage
the Maintenance Planning team, to ensure work flow process is maintained
to enable processing plants to run to optimal levels and be well
maintained, and Shut Downs are run “on time” and to planned
costs - Lead
the team of Reliability Engineers focused on improving the reliability of
the processing plants through the generation of maintenance strategies,
the development of asset life plans, root cause analysis and coordinating
continuous improvement initiatives. Also ensure we have accurate downtime
data collected and distributed - Manage
the Classified Plant section to deliver site safety and legal compliance
Essential
requirements:
- Extensive
experience in a Senior Leadership role within a Reliability and
Maintenance discipline - Qualification
in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience - Experience
in gold or mineral processing environments - Demonstrated
ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking
out side of the box delivering alternative outcomes - Experience
in performance management of team members enhancing team self esteem using
ability to coach, mentor and influence others - Well
developed analytical skills with proven ability to think and act
strategically - Ability
to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with
excellent presentation skills - Ability
to work well under pressure - Current
Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence - National
Police Clearance – valid within the last three (3) months
