appoint an Estimating Manager to lead the estimating department.

You will be involved in the full tender process including identifying risks and
opportunities associated with submissions and liaising with the business and
the client to create effective solutions. This will include involvement in
managing all estimators and reviewing the preparation of tenders, cost plans
and feasibility studies including budgets in accordance with the Client’s
requirements on a mixture of design and construction, competitive and hard
dollar tenders.

This role will suit someone who is looking for a change of scenery and would
like the opportunity to work for professional, respected and established
builder in a leadership role.  This role will be a strategic appointment
into the senior management team so the successful candidate will be expected to
demonstrate ability to lead and mentor staff.

Qualifications & Experience necessary:

• Relevant trade background or tertiary
  qualifications within Building, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity
  Surveying
• Minimum seven (7) years’ work experience in
  the role of estimating on projects up to $50 million
• Proven experience in the tender process of
  technical, complex projects with a particular focus on health care,
  pharmaceutical, laboratories and hospital environments
• Experience leading and mentoring multiple
  estimators
• Previous experience with developing strong
  client/stakeholder relationships
