Job Vacancy in Ghana for a Principal at MACALGHA Grammar School

A New International Boarding School (Grades 7-13), invites applicants for the position.
Starting Date: September 2011
Contract Type/Term: Full time/ one year in the first instance with the option of renewal, and/or permanent employment
Remuneration: Attractive and negotiable with benefits

Required Skills or Experience
Applicants must:
Hold a good first degree, relevant teaching qualification, and a Master’s degree
Have taught for at least 10 years and been a deputy or principal for at least three years, some of which should have been in an international school, or one following the UK curriculum
Be a good team leader with good interpersonal relations
Have excellent communication and teaching skills
Have the skills to motivate and engage staff, students and parents
Be willing to work long hours under stressful conditions
Be willing to take part in extra-curricular activities
Possess appropriate ICT skills
