Monetary Fund (IMF) is planning a Global Recruitment Mission to The Middle East

As a member of the
Client Services Division of the Technology and General Services (TGS)
Department, the successful candidate will strategically position and
holistically manage the IMF’s printer, copier, facsimile, and scanner
environment to provide high quality value for money print products and services
within the IMF. The printer environment includes a centralized on-site print
shop for production of the Fund’s official documents, publications, and other
materials for internal and external distribution. This position operates with
relatively high-level autonomy and requires making decisions on matters that
involve day-to-day management and execution of the work plan, business
relationships, performance management of vendor contracts, and the
implementation of the team-led projects supporting the initiatives of TGS.
responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all Service Provider charges,
department charge-back expenses, and is directly responsible for providing
regular IT financial reporting, including budgeted vs. actual expenses,
forecasts, and financial trend analysis. He/She will work with staff at
all levels and collaborate closely with the Project Management Office, Procurement,
the Budget Team, other IT Teams, and major stakeholders throughout the IMF.
Responsibilities
- Serves as owner and champion of
the Print Services Team’s mission to provide quality, cost-competitive
print products and services to the IMF. - Provides leadership and managerial
oversight to a complex, multifaceted print services work program, defining
goals, priorities, requirements, and key performance indicators - Sets and communicates strategic
direction, including technology and new product planning and
implementation. - Manages administrative and capital
budgets in accordance with guidelines, including input to reporting tools
and participates in quarterly financial reviews. - Leads and coordinates the
preparation of audit responses and other requests for data from IMF
management. - Provides leadership, guidance,
coaching, and motivation to direct report staff. - Fosters and supports a highly
motivated client service-oriented vendor workforce through contracts
supported by an appropriate technical environment capable of delivering
best-in- class customer service and quality print products and services. - Plays a key role in support of the
organization’s sustainability effort as it relates to environmental
footprint and sustainability of printing and paper use. - Establishes strong business
relationships with key users, vendors, and other stakeholders. - Leads and oversee a diverse team
of talented, service-oriented professionals with in-depth knowledge of the
printing industry . - Monitors quality, value, and
ensures continuous improvement. - Fosters a safe work environment by
establishing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. - Designs, develops and produces
reports to quantify work efforts including vendor performance, achieved
savings, work allocation, productivity, service levels, innovation, and
trends. - Identifies, develops and
implements improved products and services as appropriate to meet
institutional needs. - Implements and monitors
improvement goals, including identifying, conducting, and reporting
appropriate benchmarking at regular intervals. - Assures TGSIC’s compliance and
consistency with the IMF’s legal, procurement, and contractual policies
and procedures.

- Managing a large
printer/copier/scanner/facsimile fleet and an in-house print production
environment. - Establishing and maintaining
Contractual Service Agreements, financial analysis, cost accounting, cost
models, cost allocation processes, and chargeback processes.
degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field of study or
equivalent, plus a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience;
or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study plus a
minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, is required.
