distributing products throughout Europe.
Job Description
We are a well established, Coventry based, wholesale distribution business looking to recruit a dynamic individual to manage our sales department.
This new position arises as a consequence of the sustained and significant growth of our business over the last six years. The successful applicant will enjoy a good basic salary plus generous performance related incentives.
Reporting to the Company Sales Director, you would manage a department comprising internal inbound, internal outbound, external representative, export, and specialist division, sales staff, currently comprising 20 employees.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage and report on daily sales activities
• Prepare and present appropriate statistical performance analyses
• Formulate and implement long term customer relationship
development plans
• Liaise with the Sales Director to plan and implement promotional campaigns
• Mentor sales staff to develop and maintain positive client
relationships
• Work closely with the marketing and product development teams
• Manage weekly sales meetings
• Optimise sales opportunities
Desired Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will be an experienced, dynamic and consultative sales professional, able to demonstrate the following:
• Understanding of sales processes and associated “back office” functions
• Sales performance, profitability management, leading and motivating teams
• Highly organised, excellent communication and good IT skills
