HSSE Manager (Health, Safety, Security and Environmental)
Responsibilities
• Support in Asia Pacific (AP) region.
• Represent as the lead HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environmental) point of contact to chemical customer accounts in Asia Pacific region. Lead implementation of HSSE programs for new and existing chemical customers.
• Provide HSSE consultation services in the area of road/ sea/ air transport, chemical storage and handling to internal and external chemical users.
• Manage HSSE performances of contractors / suppliers (carriers, truckers, isotank operators, warehouse operators, depots, etc.)
• Recommend processes to achieve high HSSE standards in new projects.
• Recommend and implement action plans for any HSSE related non conformances / incidents.
• Plan and perform HSSE audits (internal / external).
• Review HSSE performances and provide improvement plans where appropriate
• Plan and manage ISO certification programs.
• Proactively provide leadership in anticipating process gaps in the area of HSSE
• Provide leadership to raise HSSE awareness and achieve conformance to international standards and SOPs.
• Provide HSSE performance reporting in AP
• Achieve internal and external HSSE performance targets.
Requirements
• 8-15 years of HSSE experiences in chemical / logistics industry. Prior experience in surveying will be advantageous.
• Team player and meticulous.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills. Has good ability to influence stakeholders.
• Possess excellent time management skills; able to prioritise and multi task under time pressures
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Excellent Computer literacy, MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Degree in Engineering/ Logistics/ Supply Chain
