To develop, establish and maintain
communications and marketing strategies, policies and processes aligned with
organisational objectives to ensure elevation of the product and brand
awareness, manage corporate communication within MDCB and to its stakeholders.

Job
description
- Participates
in the setting up, implementation and review communications strategy - Develops
communications strategies, materials, and content targeted to MDCB
clients, prospects, the media, and other key audiences that support the
organization’s business objectives and build positive awareness of our
brand - Creates,
implements, and oversees communications programs that promote MDCB and its
services - Develop
a public relations, advertising, brand and media strategies; product
launch strategy and internal marketing strategy for review - Develops,
nurtures and maintains good media relations - Advises
the Company on Corporate Communication issues - Maintains
an updated media monitoring database and periodically share such with MDCB
management for informed decisions - Coordinates
MDCB’s participation in fairs, exhibitions, and educational campaigns - Ensures
that the production of the MDCB Annual Report is done timely in
consultation with relevant structures - Develop
and execute the integrated communications programs aligned with the
company brand - Develop
advertisements for the organisation and elevate brand awareness through
advertising - Maintains
awareness of budgetary control issues including cost control - Ensures
the development, availability and implementation of Corporate
Communications policies, processes and procedures - Implement
internal controls in line with the risk management framework - Supervises
and monitors the performance of staff in the Division and provides
guidance and assistance - Ensure
that all staff are trained, skilled and that their expertise is fully
applied
Requirements,
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or
related field. - A
Master’s Degree will be an added advantage. - 10
years of experience in public relations, marketing, and/or corporate
communications, at least 5 of which should have been at a management
level.
