The Hendry Group, an industry leader in Building
Surveying and Certification, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Building
Surveyor / Building Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years experience, to be based
in our Sydney office.

Surveyor / Building Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years experience, to be based
in our Sydney office.
The successful applicant’s duties will include:
- Assessment and certification of design
documents for building projects; - Inspection of buildings to ensure compliance
with the relevant building legislation; - Undertake building inspections associated with
due diligence building audits, fire safety audits, building condition
audits and statutory inspection regimes where required. - Compliance auditing;
- Essential Safety Measures audits
To be considered for this role, the successful applicant
must possess the following qualities:

- Currently be registered as an Accredited
Certifier; - Possess thorough knowledge and understanding
of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act/Regulations &
Building Code of Australia; - Demonstrate a “can do” attitude;
- Exceptional customer service and networking
skills; - Highly developed oral and written
communication skills; - Ability to effectively negotiate and resolve
disputes; - Strong ability to write and present cohesive,
coherent and technically sound reports; - Excellent interpersonal and verbal
communication skills; - Experience in either Local Government or
Private Practice; - Valid NSW drivers licence;
- Eligible for a Federal Police Clearance and
other agency security clearances
This is a senior position, salary and a car
allowance will be negotiable, relevant to experience and qualifications.
