Help a Child (HaC) is a
Christian international NGO specialized in participatory community development
with its headquarters in the Netherlands. Founded in 1968, HaC’s mission is to
improve the wellbeing of children through empowerment of children themselves as
well as their families and communities. Our main sources of income are child
& family sponsorship, grants from institutional donors and foundations. Our
main activities focus on early childhood development, education, vocational
training, work and income, with special attention for the position of girls and
women, and children’s rights.

Position
The HAC Malawi Y&W
country strategy 2017-2019 focus on the promotion of youth entrepreneurship and
Youth active in agribusiness. The Y&W Program Manager will play a role in
further shaping the country program and oversee the implementation of this
strategy. The Y&W Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and guiding
the implementation of current projects as well as supporting new program
development. This will include building the capacity of local partners to
deliver quality youth projects and carrying out appropriate monitoring and
evaluation processes. Further the Y&W Program Manager will represent the organization
in professional networks, towards donors and relevant government departments,
and play a role in proposal development and fundraising. The successful
candidate will be passionate about youth development with a strong
understanding on how markets can work for young people especially within rural
areas.

Qualifications and Experience
We are a looking for a
