Health problem of old age

Physical problem
Many of
these are a result of degenerative disease which will include high blood
pressure, diabetes, and urinary infection, enlarged prostrate impaired vision
and hearing which may lead to accident in the home resulting to fraction (most
commence in the fracture of head of femur). There is weakness of the muscles
reduction in strength and physical fatigue

Mental problems
Depression,
worries, loss of memory (they remember old event but forget the immediate
event. Some even forget to eat or take their drugs) there is a changes in  their general outlook of life there is poor
personal hygiene and poor feeding  habits
therefore, some of them may become anemic
Socio–economic problems
Finances
and loneliness are the most pressing social economic problems of the old age.
Loneliness may result of loss of a partner or because the children are all
grown up and have left for their various homes. It may also be because of
impaired eyesight, which prevent the old people to move about freely or
impaired mental health. If he or she impatient or aggressive he will be visited
by relatives with finance, the old person may because of loss or limited income
and this may lower his or her nutritional standard.
