Hays are working in partnership with an exciting company who specialise in the
energy management solutions space in Victoria. The company specialise in energy
efficiency within the commercial and industrial field. The company, based to
the East of Melbourne are continually expanding whilst finding new and
innovative ways to save their clients energy costs.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the full cradle to grave of the energy efficiency
process. This will include data analysis of the customers energy usage (i.e
billing data), energy auditing then followed by assessing the potential
solutions that can be provided to ensure that a cost reduction is made. Working
within the Engineering team, you will identify key opportunities across not
only their existing client base but also working alongside the sales team who
will develop new avenues and new clients.
You will use your electrical engineering knowledge to then project manager the
design, engineering, testing and commissioning of the projects that may include
LV/HV conversion, embedded generators, co-generation projects and renewable
projects to name a few.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified engineer (preferably electrical) with a strong
commercial acumen in the energy sector. You must have a proven background in
identifying and analyzing energy usage (tariffs, billing) as well as the
ability to conduct feasibility studies. You will have experience of energy
auditing.
Those who possess a strong background in the above but may lack direct project
management skills will be considered if they possess the right drive,
motivation and commercial acumen.
