This is a rare

to develop an amazing outdoor program of activities. The centre achieved
exceeding at assessment and has excellent resources and above ratio staffing.

The right candidate for this role will be looking for a leadership opportunity
where you can use your experience to develop an innovative outdoor program.
This will include a ‘munch and move’ initiative but the sky really is the
limit. Therefore you will be a self-starter who will make the most of the
autonomy of the role to really expand upon the children’s experiences. You will
also need a flexible and team based approach as no two days will be the same
and you may be asked to support in other areas on occasion.
The centre does nothing by halves and expectations will be high. This is a
position within the centres leadership team and as such you will be expected to
have those skills and contribute ideas to the direction of the centre. Strong
written and verbal communication skills will be vital allowing you to build
relationships quickly and therefore ensure the program is appropriate to the
needs of different age groups and developmental stages.

You must hold an ACEQUA approved Early Childcare teaching qualification, or be
studying towards this. You must hold a valid First Aid Certificate and current
Working with Children’s Check. An understanding of Early Childhood Regulations
and the Early Years Learning Framework are essential.
