exponentially growing organisation is currently looking for a Payroll Officer
to join their busy and hard working team. Having been in the industry for a
considerable amount of time, their market share is quite significant which
provides an abundance of opportunity t
o progress internally. Looking to take
someone on permanently, they require candidates with Chris 21 exposure and end
to end payroll experience.
Duties extend to setting up new starters, processing weekly and fortnightly
payment runs, calculation of redundancies, terminations and leave entitlements,
Payroll and Group tax, superannuation, interpretation of complex EBA’s and
Awards, running payroll related reports, and answering any internal queries
relating to payroll.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in an end-to-end Payroll
function, especially with interpretation of EBA’s and Awards. System experience
in Chris 21 will be highly regarded, but not essential. You must have great
attention to detail, good communication skills and extensive knowledge in the
payroll function.
