Our client, a well known department of the NSW Government is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to continue developing their career with a temporary to permanent opportunity. The role has become available due to recent growth.
As the successful candidate you will report directly to the Finance Manager and work in a well established, experienced team environment. This is a long term position and commitment to completing the assignment is essential. In return, you will enjoy working in a diverse role with a company who promote a strong work life balance.
As an experienced Finance Officer, your primary responsibilities will include managing the end to end accounts payable process, processing daily incoming payments, bank reconciliations, preparing reports using Excel and fortnightly payroll.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded, will be degree qualified, have advanced excel skills and have a proven track record within this field. You will have excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience using SAP is preferable however a system such as Oracle or Great Plains would also be considered
