Hearts follows the Montessori philosophy where children learn at their own pace
and create their own experiences. Classes take place in small, highly engaged
bursts, keeping children’s minds and creativity engaged. Children are
encouraged to discover, not through technology or through passive instruction,

mission is to develop our children into tomorrow’s leaders. We admit children
from 3 to 5 years old with a maximum capacity of 40 children. The school is
bilingual; English and French; therefore, it is an advantage for someone in
this position to speak both languages, but it’s not a requirement.

You
will primarily be responsible for the daily management of the school, but you
will also be involved in strategizing the future of Happy Hearts.

Your
tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Take
part in developing curriculum and scheme of work together with the
teachers - Manage
staff: Currently two teachers, two teacher’s assistants, one cleaner, one
cook, and guards - Make
sure the daily activities run smoothly and as planned - Arrange
parents meetings - Respond
to phone calls and emails - Welcome
children in the morning and talk to parents during pick-up time - Organize
workshops and meetings for staff - Prepare
communication materials and update website and Facebook - Communicate
important information to parents - Assist
to create monthly News-letters with pictures of the children to be send to
all parents - Organize
holiday camps during July and August - keep
track of expenditures, and assist with financials - Manage
the stock, and make sure necessary materials are available to the staff

are looking for an exceptional individual who has the same passion and idea of
early childhood development as we do. You will need to be driven by the will

passionate about early childhood development and might even have worked in
a Montessori environment before - Has
experience working in an Early Childhood Development setting - Has
management experience - Has
good communication skills - Has
good organizational skills - Is
creative - Speaks
English well; French will be an added advantage
