Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
– GOAL Malawi
Reporting to M&E Coordinator

as proven effectiveness in working collaboratively with others is desirable,
Should possess strong analytical skills as well as clarity in thinking and
communication, Ability to work under minimum supervision and to take personal
initiative to accomplish tasks

s/he will responsible for managing
the field projects all aspects of Monitoring and Evaluation including
development and management of M&E tools and systems, analysis and
comprehensive and timely reporting which will provide relevant feedback to
projects
Coordinate Monitoring and
Evaluation of activities relating to GOAL’s active programs with govt officials
and the GOAL team at national, district and community levels, Work with
district govt partners to ensure that Integration databases are instituted and
updated on a regular basis, Ensure timely dissemination of data to GOAL
management and partners for decision making and reporting purposes, Lead a team
of Project M&E Officers to ensure that donor reporting requirements
relating to M&E are adhered to and considered throughout monitoring
/evaluation processes, Coordinate and conduct all trainings relating monitoring
and evaluation at organisation and district levels, Facilitate project
reflection meetings at district as well as community level, Lead n
documentation of project lessons and success stories for sharing with districts
stakeholders and donors, Ensure that training reports, meetings and all the
work is properly documented and filed, Liaise with and advise program staffs to
ensure appropriate M & E tools are being used, Manage GOAL’s feedback and
response mechanism by logging complaints and ensuring that they are closed in a
timely manner by appropriate individuals and that the right channels are used
to provide timely feedback to the communities, p designing and implementation
strategy for market development activities
A minimum qualification of
Bachelors Degree in development Studies, Statistics or related Social Science
is a must, candidates should possess not less than 4 yrs experience in a
research, M&E in a non-profit or private organisation, Should have advanced
skills in the management of Social Development Projects, extensive knowledge of
the Project Management Cycle, substantive experience with and knowledge of
GOAL’s major donors’ M&E principles and requirement, excellent report
writing skills and communication skills, Must possess excellent knowledge of
computer analytical packages, especially, Excel, Stata and other statistical
packages, Should have good interpersonal and facilitation a well as
organisational/time management skills
