Services has a Career Opportunity for a TRANSPORTATION MANAGER. This position
reports to the Corporate VP, Supply Chain Management and is a key position in
developing and implementing efficiencies in transportation operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage activities related to
hiring, training and maintaining the necessary personnel to operate
transportation units in the Northern and Southern Divisions.
* Proactive succession planning of staff to meet future goals and objectives.
* Assist in creation of annual operating and capital budgets.
* Liaise with Logistics to ensure that all transportation units are available
when needed.
* Maintain continuous monitoring of the transportation department’s operating
costs compared to utilizing 3rd party transportation companies.
* Monitoring of business processes as they relate to the transportation
department.
* Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop
plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
* Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION,

* Degree in a relevant field is an
asset
* Must have a minimum of 8+ years of strong operational experience in the Oil
& Gas industry
* Worked in a management role for 5+ years
* Sound administrative and well developed management skills
* Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
* Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership
team
* Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to the mission of
