My client is a
leader in IVD Device manufacturing and they are seeking a number of suitably
qualified and talented Project Engineers to join their company on a full-time
basis, with an immediate start available. Joining a close-knit and dynamic
Engineering Team, the Successful Applicant/s will report to the Manufacturing
Manager and play an integral part of the development and delivery of their
current niche projects.

Main project duties
involve reviewing advanced prototypes, and their transfer to low cost
manufactured product designs. The Incumbent/s will also be required to take on
a leading role in the design and establishment of pre-production processes with
consideration to verification and validation activities.

The Successful
Applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary
    qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • At
    least 6 years Project Engineering experience with a Product Development
    background in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry
  • Working
    knowledge of common polymer fabrication / prototyping techniques
  • Proven
    history of delivering design and manufacturing solutions for high quality,
    low costs, volume manufactured products
  • Demonstrable
    experience with utilising Design for Manufacture Principles, Design
    Control Processes and Validation and Verification Processes with regards
    to company QMS
  • Working-knowledge
    of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Outstanding
    3D CAD skills, preferably with Solid Edge
  • Previous
    experience with delivering projects on time and in accordance to strict
    budgets
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills
