About the Role: Our
client is seeking a Surveyor to work as part of a Survey crew on a two year
Road project in Sydney. Works consist of earthworks, roads, drainage, services,
pavements etc.
Duties:
• Reporting to the Senior Surveyor
• Planning of daily workloads
• Calibration of equipment
• Daily Survey tasks
• Transfer of data
• Reading plans
• Reporting
• Attend weekly site meetings
• Mentoring Junior Surveyors
About the Requirements:
A proven background as a Surveyor is required, and in order to be successful in
this role you must possess the following:
• Formal Surveying qualifications
• Ideally have 3+ years survey knowledge
• Road survey background
• RMS knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient with Total Station and GPS equipment
• Experience of using software such as 12D model
• Be a team player as well as being able to work autonomously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good IT skills
