Finance Manager
Requirements:
Our client, involved in the electronic/manufacturing sector, is a subsidiary of well-established and renowned Japanese MNC Group, is currently looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager with manufacturing exposure and experience working in Japanese company for the FM role.
Reporting to the Finance Director (a Japanese) in Singapore and leading a team of staff in the Finance department, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following job responsibilities.
1. Manage the financial matters of the Company and its subsidiaries in the region.
2. Take care of the Group’s financial requirements including strategic financial planning, providing financial analyses, business budgets and forecasts, annual budgets, cashflow management, accounting practices and controls, taxation and audits in compliance with statutory requirements.
3. Supervise the finance team in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of financial reports.
4. Be responsible for timely, accuracy and integrity of the financial and statistical reporting to the relevant authorities and for management review.
5. Establish, develop and standardize financial reporting controls, policies, procedures, security and budgets.
6. Review of manufacturing product cost and be involved in cost reduction and control.
7. Participate in ad-hoc improvement projects.
The successful candidate whom we are looking for will be someone meeting the following criteria.
a. Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
b. CPA certification desirable.
c. Have at least 10 years relevant working experience with at least 5 years in manufacturing industry preferably in Japanese MNC.
d. “Hands-on” manufacturing exposure a must & have experience in manufacturing cost accounting skills in product costing, project accounting and operational issues within a manufacturing background.
e. Strong knowledge of ERP system.
f. Strong controllership mindset and leadership skills.
g. Good business acumen and an analytical mind.
h. Prefer candidate with Mandarin-speaking proficiency for this role.
i. The ability to communicate in Japanese language is a plus advantage.
j. Possess confidence, innovative thinking together with strong communication and interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
