Job Scope:Overall in charge of the Accounts department, you will:
– Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Finance department.
– Be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance responsibilities including but not limited to timely management, legal, adhoc reportings, compliance filings for corporate tax, treasury, statistical forms submissions, maintenance of accounting systems
– play an active role in cross border issues involving group companies and drive execution of strategic management thrusts / projects.
– Be responsible for coaching and developing capabilities of subordinates and facilitate change implementation and management.
Requirements:
– Degree in Accountancy from a locally recognised University and a qualified CPA;
– 2 to 3 years fundamental external audit experience with a large Certified Public Accounting firm;
– Minimum 5 years commercial experience with a multi-national corporation or a listed entity;
– Supervisory experience in a managerial position;
– In-depth knowledge in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, monthend closing, management reporting, etc;
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word;
– Sound knowledge in financial accounting standards and corporate taxation;
– Knowledge of ERP accounting system preferred;
– Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions will be an added advantage;
– Possess an innovative mindset and the ability to “think on the feet”;
– Good project management and planning skills
– Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
