Controller of a local Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Trading company in
Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day operations of the organization provide
leadership and handle problems efficiently.
• Implementing the operational systems, processes and
policies in support of organizations mission and vision specifically, provide
management reporting, financial reporting, Cash flow management, business
processes and contributing to organizational planning.
• Manage and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of
Support Services (HR, IT, PR and Finance).
• Organizing and producing of fiscal documents and financial
reports.
• Regular meetings with Executive Director around fiscal
planning
• Setting up of the operations independently from scratch
• Physical set-up of the Office.
• Liaising with the required legal/government authorities,
CSR, PAYE, RRA and other statutory institutions.
• Overseeing co-ordination with supplier, distributor, agents
and Head office.
• Maintaining entire books of accounts in PASTEL PARTNER 2009
software and getting them audited.
• Finance management, Budgeting and Planning in coordination
with Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a RWANDAN citizen.
• Professional Degree in Accountancy. Degree in
Administration Management will be added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the field.
• Administration skill
• Knowledge of English, Kinyarwanda and Kiswahili. Knowledge
of French will be an added advantage.
• Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the
Company.
• Ability to prepare and Interpretation of Income Statement,
Balance sheet and Trial Balance.
• Knowledge of taxation and other RRA compliances of FMCG.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management
style.
• Excel at operating in a fast pace, diverse community
environment.
• Able to work independently in the absence of direct
supervision and tight deadlines.
• Trustworthy and honest.
