Association of Malawi (FPAM) is an indigenous, non-governmental organisation providing
youth friendly sexual and reproductive health rights information and
services 

FPAM is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following
positions tenable at the Secretariat in Lilongwe

Program Manager

The position reports to the Director of Programs

Provide technical programmatic direction and lead in Resource
Mobilisation

Plan the delivery of all programming activities, Develop and implement
long-term program goals and objectives, In liaison with the supervisor, develop
a program evaluation framework, Lead in resource mobilisation drive, Write
progress reports for management and donors, Devise innovative an deficient
programming initiatives

Masters Degree in Public Health, Social Science or any relevant qualification
from reputable institution, 5 yrs of work experience with a minimum of 3 yrs of
projects management, Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills, Extensive experience in writing wining proposals

Finance Manager

Position reports to
the Director of Finance and Administration

Provide direction and support in the implementation and management of effective
and efficient finance and accounting procedures and systems to support and
strengthen FPAM program

Ensure that accurate and timely finance records are maintained, and that all
procures and controls are implemented, Develop, review and maintain efficient
financial and accounting systems, Prepare timely and accurate internal
financial accounting reports to management, Oversee preparation and management
of the annual budget, Oversee preparation of accurate payroll, Providing and
interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends, Formulating strategic and
long term business plans, Managing the financial accounting, monitoring and
reporting systems, Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is
carried out, Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines,
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation, Maintain
asset records, Supervise Finance Officers

Strong working knowledge of SAGE and other accounting packages will be an added
advantage, Prior NGO experience at Management level is desirable, able to
manage multiple donor accounting set up, Good initiative, analytical skills,
able to work under pressure, resolve issues in a timely manner, task
oriented

Bachelors Degree in Finance Management or its equivalent from a reputable
institution, Strong Management , analytical and communications skills, Thorough
knowledge and understanding of major donor requirements, Over 5 yrs experience
in a similar role, at least 4 at Management level, Be a holder of professional
qualification such as ACCA, CIMA 

Logistics and
Administration Coordinator

The position reports to the Director of Finance and Administration

Responsible for logistics and administration management

Oversee the logistic and support of FPAM program, Coordinate annual procurement
plans and ensure timely delivery of goods and services, Manage stores and
ensure appropriate documentation is maintained, Coordinate advertising and
selection of prequalified suppliers, Manage the procurement and logistics in a
timely and cot efficient manner, Over see Health and Safety in the workplace
and develop appropriate guidelines and training, Oversee security of offices
and assets and develop appropriate guidelines, Manage fleet of cares and assets
and ensure their timely maintenance and repairs, Develop standard frameworks
for all service contracts

Applicant should have a minimum of bachelors Degree in Supply chain, Business
Administration, or any relevant qualification from a reputable institution,
Over 5 yrs experience in a similar role, Strong Management, analytical and
communication skills

Program Planning and monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (PPME)

Position reports to the Director of Programs

Responsible for overall planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects 

Lead in all M&E
initiatives projects including data quality, tracking the progress of
activities, Lead M&E system and process development, creating a framework
and procedures for monitoring an devaluation of project activities, Define and
implement the key project performance indicators (KPI) and monitor them
throughout the project implementation, Propose strategies to increase data use
and demand amongst program staff, Review the performance of existing management
information system, Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of
data within the program field teams, Implement and participate in program and
project evaluation, Take an active role in establishing log frames, M&E
wokplan and targets during the drafting project proposal and throughout project
implementation, Coordinate and provide M&E training to program staff,
Ensure results of monitoring and evaluation contribute to improvement of
projects, Ensure programme efficiency and
 effectiveness in line with project objectives, Document and disseminate
achievements, lessons learned and promising/bets practices from programs,
Review and analyse period reports to identify the causes of potential
bottlenecks in project implementation and enhance quality reporting, Coordinate
organisational knowledge management activities

A minimum of Bachelors Degree in Economics, Statistics, Project Management or
any relevant qualification from a reputable institution, At least 5 yrs of
progressively responsible experience in monitoring evaluation, and research ain
the public or private sector, Demonstrated experience in project planning,
monitoring and evaluation in a donor funded project is highly desirable,
Excellent interpersonal and team working skills and a high degree of computer
literacy 

Clinical
Officer 

Position reports to the District Manager

Ensure provision of high quality integrated youth friendly services to clients
and maintain up to date records of clinic activities

Provision of youth friendly, client centred services to clients, Provide
quality of care standards and guidelines as provided and within the
professional confines of the service provider, Conducts client assessment,
Provide counselling for Youth and marginalised populations, Reports monthly
clinic progress to Supervisor, Budget preparation and management

Diploma in Clinical Medicine obtained from a recognised training institution,
and registered with Medical Council of Malawi, Have experience in HIV voluntary
counselling and Testing, Should have a extensive working knowledge and
experience of Family planning service provision, Knowledge in ART management,
cervical cancer screening and youth friendly health services will be an added
advantage, Must be between the ages of 25 to 40 yrs with a minimum of 2 yrs
working experience
