Environmental Defence is a national environmental charity that has been active since 1984. We have had many successes in fighting toxic chemicals (ie. Bisphenol A), protecting endangered areas (ie. the Ontario Greenbelt and Lake Simcoe) and protecting our beaches and water systems (ie. the Water Guardians program and Blue Flag). We are looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about the environment, are well spoken and self-motivated. Our canvass raises awareness of our issues on the doorstep, and raises funds to support our campaigns. F/T and P/T available. Hours are 3:30pm to 9:30pm weekdays, based on 2 hours travel and administration time and 4 hours knocking on doors. Experience is not required, training provided. Performance based pay with guaranteed base pay.
