Volunteer
Abroad in Uganda! Volunteers can choose from joining a wide variety of locally
initiated projects. Whether you are interested in working with children or
helping a widow’s group learn the basics of accounting, living and working in
Uganda will change the way you see the world. ELI offers volunteer projects in
the Iganga district of Uganda. Based in Iganga Town, projects are only 3 hours
from the capital, Kampala, and offer the unforgettable experience small-town
Ugandan life.
Volunteers can help
with a variety of projects including:
- Orphanages
& Children’s Programs - Teaching
- Health
and Medicine - Conservation
and Environmental Education - Community
Development
Accommodation:
Interns stay with a host family, and are provided with their own room, and 2
meals a day.
Program Duration: 2
week minimum time commitment
Program Cost: varies
depending on length of time (please inquire for specifics)
