The Opportunity
Native Plant Solutions (NPS), a consulting branch of Ducks Unlimited
Canada (DUC), is looking for a confident, energetic and dedicated
Field Biologist to join our team. Wo
rking with a multi-faceted team of
professionals, you will lead the development and implementation of
field activities for reclamation, remediation and applied science
projects. NPS provides environmental services and expertise in wetland
and upland ecosystems to industry, land developers and government
agencies. You will provide technical, scientific, field oversight and
planning on NPS projects located throughout Manitoba.

outdoors.
Your two to five years of experience and advanced knowledge of aquatic
and terrestrial plant ecosystems make you the ideal candidate for this
position, which is based in our Native Plant Solutions office in
Winnipeg, Manitoba.
You possess strong technical writing and presentation skills. You are
an organized individual with proven analytical skills and statistical
abilities. With the ability to work independently or as part of a
team, you are a true leader with visionary qualities who consistently
meets deadlines and delivers quality results under sometimes
challenging circumstances.
Qualifications
• You possess an undergraduate or graduate degree in Science, Biology,
Soil Science, or related discipline.
• You have experience in planning and project management, particularly
in the delivery and oversight of field projects.
• You are comfortable in fostering key relationships, both internally
and with our business clients.
• You possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
