four, it indicates that the elderly in the study area lack knowledge of the
causes or problems related to their pattern of eating. This is in agreement
with Smith, 2008 which states that ignorance of the basic facts of nutrition is
prevalent in the elderly persons.

current dietary habits may be linked with heart disease, tooth decay, obesity,

gradual degeneration processes which are the main causes of death for most of
