The
purpose of the National Disa

bility Insurance Agency (NDIA) is to implement the
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which will support a better life
for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent
disability. The NDIA will also provide great benefit to the families and carers
of Australians living with a disability. The NDIS is designed to enhance the
quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with
disability and will mean peace of mind for every Australian, for anyone who
has, or might acquire, a disability.

The
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be rolled out across New South
Wales (NSW) between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2018. The National Disability
Insurance Agency (NDIA) is the agency responsible for implementing the NDIS on
behalf of all participating governments across Australia.
The
service delivery roles we have available are;
Planners
and Planner Team Leader (APS 4-6)
– salary range from $61,288 to $85,418
plus 15.4% superannuation
Planners
are responsible for conducting planning conversations and risk assessments and
making reasonable and necessary decisions in accordance with the NDIS Act 2013.
Planners
provide participants and representatives with information and support to
identify their goals and aspirations, working with participants and their
carers to identify options to achieve their plan outcomes drawing on informal,
mainstream and community supports as well as reasonable and necessary supports
to be funded by NDIS.
In
addition, the Planner Team Leader (APS6 only) will lead, coach and share
expertise and technical knowledge with peers and the broader site team and
across the agency. At this level you will think laterally, be innovative and
contribute to business improvement strategies, seeking to identify world
leading practices in the area of disability support.  In smaller sites,
you may be the senior on-site officer on a day-to-day basis for a site.
The
APS 4 to 6 opportunities are available in Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown,
Chatswood, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith and Windsor (including surrounding
suburbs). In addition, roles will be available in Batemans Bay, Bega, Gosford,
Katoomba, Moree, Tamworth and Taree.
Assistant
Director of Service Delivery (EL1)
– salary range from $96,266 to $105,362
plus 15.4% superannuation
The
role of Assistant Director of Service Delivery will lead numerous teams of
Planners, which may include business support employees, to ensure positive
scheme outcomes for participants, families and carers. The Assistant Director
needs to be a leader, handle complex and sensitive conversations where many
issues need to be balanced, to have deep knowledge and experience of disability
impacts on daily living and where early intervention may reduce impacts and/or
improve outcomes for the individual and/or Scheme.
The
EL1 roles are available in Bankstown and Liverpool (including surrounding
suburbs).
Director
Service Delivery (EL2)
– salary range from $113,464 to
$128,819 plus 15.4% superannuation
As
the Director of Service Delivery you will have demonstrated exemplary
leadership and management skills with service delivery teams in a dynamic
environment. Your role will be to inspire and motivate your team to provide
timely, quality and innovative services consistent with performance
expectations in an ever changing environment and ensure performance
requirements are met within timeframes and quality expectations.
The
EL2 roles are available in Liverpool, Parramatta and Penrith (including
surrounding suburbs).
Our
ideal candidates will have an ability to gather information to make an informed
decision, work closely with NDIS participants (or stakeholders) to identify
their current and future supports, prepare NDIS participant plans and
contribute broadly to the agencies quality assurance framework.
