Deputy Advisor (Industrial Panning)
Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + 7600 (Grade Pay) (pre-revised Scale of Pay of Rs.12000-375-16500).
Duties:
Initiating,Conducting and guiding studies on problems of long-term industrial development and assisting the Head of the Division in organizing such studies.
Eligibility:
Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.10000-325-15200 or equivalent under the Central/State Govts./UT Administrations/Universities/Recognised Institutions/Public Undertakings and possessing the qualifications and experience prescribed.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by Transfer on Deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the crucial date for determining eligibility.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
1. Master’s degree in Economics or Degree in Engineering Technology of a recognized university or equivalent.
2. 10 years’ experience in research/appraisal/planning/execution of development projects/programmes for field studies in the problems of industrial development.
Desirable:
1. Doctorate degree in Economics/Master’s Degree in Engineering.
2. Knowledge of concepts and techniques of development planning.
3. Experience of evaluation of feasibility studies and detailed projects reports in the field of industry.
