About our team
The Client Contract Management team (CCM) is a centralised and dedicated team
committed to supporting our Partners
and Client Service Teams manage client
contracts, to maximise efficiency and effectiveness for our top Strategic
Accounts nationally.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of CCM and working alongside a small team locally and
in our Extended Delivery Centre offshore, you will support our clients with
contract management tasks including analysing contract management needs,
developing contract management plans, negotiating and liaising with client
procurement teams, and resolving procurement issues and supporting supplier
reviews.
Other responsibilities include:
- Taking
primary responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients allocated to
the CCM Team - Act
as a point of contact for complex queries and contract management requests
from our clients and the CCM offshore team - Support
Client Service Teams at specific points in the lifecycle of the contract
so that Deloitte complies with the terms and conditions agreed with its
clients - Assist
in reviewing and advising on contract management components of Requests
for Proposal for a new MSA (RFPs) - Contribute
to responses to RFPs and new MSAs for input and review - Review
contract management plans and related materials prepared to support CCM
Clients - Lead
negotiations and meetings with our clients and internal and external
stakeholders - Lead
discussions on contract and account analysis with key stakeholders
About
your experience
your experience
The position also requires the ability to build strong relationships with
internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will
have;
- A
minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within a Professional services industry
or multi hierarchical organisation - Prior
experience in contract management, contract negotiation, legal, compliance
or risk management - An
understanding of the contract management lifecycle, tender process,
relationship management and financial reporting requirements / objectives - Exceptional
negotiating ability demonstrated through successful completion of contract
negotiations - Strong
communication skills including an understanding of change management
objectives - Strong
project management and organisational skills including the ability to
manage interdependencies and assist with managing internal and external
stakeholders - Be
highly organised and well-structured with keen attention to detail - Prior
people management/mentoring experience - The
ability to utilise tools such as eProcurement, spend analytics, contract
management systems and reporting systems (desirable) - Tertiary
level qualification in law, business, contract management or economics
highly regarded
