Required
qualifications
Knowledge
Knowledge of the
Rwandan (or other developing countries) context of supply chain management
and rural development, preferably in the health sector. Comprehensive
knowledge of the principles, theories and best practices used in supply chain
management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree
in relevant field. Master’s in Public Health, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
preferred.
Prior Work
Experience
Minimum of five
years experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Language
Proficiency
Fluent in English
(Written and Spoken)
Fluent Kinyarwanda
preferred.
Abilities and
Skills
Strong
interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within
interdisciplinary and international team framework: willingness and ability
to take initiative with minimal guidance; strong conceptualization,
analytical, and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
with a broad range of professional counterparts within and outside the
organization; advanced computer literacy, ability to create complex
spreadsheets, project scheduling experience (Excel, MS Project, Primavera).
The Supply Chain
Manager position is crucial to the success of the program and the candidates
must be ready to work in pressure-intensive environment.
