basic maintenance functions efficiently and effectively while adhering to
safety and operational standards, policies and procedures to achieve set
production efficiency targets.

2.MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE – Serviceman
2.1.Job Summary
To install and maintain conveyor belts, screen
panels, pulley lagging, skirting (including splicing of belts and belt
alignment) and carry out general service as well as providing basic
construction.
2.2.Minimum Requirements
•BGCSE or equivalent
•2 (two) years experience in Plant maintenance or
operation/repair of screens, conveyor belts and or in building, carpentry or
related environment or in building, carpentry or related environment
•Operator phase 1 or MTTC Trade Test B or
equivalent
•Belts man theoretical and practical modules
(including appropriate lifting training)
• Vulcanizing course
•Screen Panel Maintenance
•Valid driver’s license.
3.MAINTAINER OPERATOR TRAINEE
3.1.Job Summary
The successful candidate will undergo a
Metallurgical Maintainer Operator Trainee Programme
3.2.Minimum Requirements
•O’level passes in Mathematics, Science and at
least a D in English
•Exposure to Ore processing plant will be an added
advantage
3.3.Personal Attributes
