2.ELECTRICIAN TRAINEE
2.1.Qualifications and Experience
•Should have passed any course in Electrical
Engineering/electrician in Botswana
•Should be registered with the department of
apprenticeship and training
3.FOUNDRY ELECTRICIAN
3.1.Qualifications and Experience
•The applicant should have a minimum of 5 years
experience as foundry electrician in foundry industry.
•Should have knowledge on induction furnaces, EOT
Cranes, sand plant equipment like conveyors, sand mixers, shot blast and
machines, air compressors and other electrical equipment.
•S/He should be able to carry out electrical
Preventative maintenance as per schedule and breakdown work as well.
•S/he should have special induction furnaces for
steel ingot and cast iron foundries
•S/he should have good knowledge about maintenance
and troubleshooting for screw & reciprocating type of air compressors,
about induction motors, starters, lighting equipment, sand plant equipment like
conveyors, bucket elevator, sand cooler units and Steel shot blast machine.
