Job Summary
Lead the establishment of corporate standards, specifications and designs in
Mechanical Engineering, implement those at the mines and in projects. The aim
is to deliver improved equipment performance (reliability, availability and
cost) throughout, in line with business aspirations and industry benchmarks.
Requirements
Minimum
Requirements
- Degree
in Mechanical Engineering - 10
years post qualification engineering experience in heavy engineering
including Engineer in Training (EIT) programme with 3 years in a
substantive mining industry - Proven
track record in leading change successfully from a corporate perspective - Experience
in and having the ability to initiate large or long-term changes in the
organization in response to anticipated future requirements. - Able to
lead others, particularly through new or modified approaches, practices
and processes in the organization.

Engineering - Drives
collaboration and innovation throughout the Mechanical Engineering
discipline
Compliance
to Mechanical Engineering standards
- Update
and governs the implementation of standards and procedures
