Recruitment Medical Secretary – Surgical Practice Job Vacancy in Brisbane

Our
client, a newly established surgical practice conveniently located within
walking distance of Central Train Station is now seeking to appoint an
additional full time permanent Medical Secretary to join their team.

Reporting
directly to the Practice Manager, you will have a previous track record of
Medical Reception and Secretarial experience working within a similar
role. Experience within the medical/healthcare setting is essential
(surgical specialist experience will be viewed favourably). You will also
bring with you, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills,
reliability, a strong eye for detail, the ability to work well within a team
based environment as well as strong work ethics and the desire to take full
responsibility and ownership for your role.

Your
key duties and responsibilities will include:

Taking
incoming telephone calls and managing all patient enquiries

·
Medical
typing

·
Producing
accurate and timely theatre quotations, consent forms and relating
documentation for patients undergoing surgical procedures

·
Patient
billing and receipting

·
Booking
patient appointments (using Genie software)

·
Co-ordinating
theatre bookings and processing of theatre billing

·
Providing
administrative and secretarial support to the team as required.
