The total number of respondents that
says “yes” is equal to 223 representing 61.9% while respondents that says “no”
is equal to 137 representing 38%. Details in appendix 11 shows that x2
calculated =18 while 0.05 table value of x2 at 2df = 5.991 since,
calculated x2 =18.12 is greater than x2 0.05=5.991 at
2df, the null hypothesis is thus rejected. The researcher therefore concluded
that global warming exists in Erhoike community near Kokori, Ethiope East Local
Government Area of Delta State.
