Remuneration
value up to $413 410 p.a., comprising salary between $171 044 – $198 678 p.a.
(L18 – L24) or $204 543 – $216 865 p.a. (L25 –L27) , employer contribution to
superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), motor vehicle
package, communication package, professional development allowance,
professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and

anaesthetist will be responsible for the provision of quality cost efficient
anaesthesia, preadmission review and acute pain services care and clinical
consultative services within the Toowoomba Hospital. There are six operating
theatres, 1750 deliveries per annum, high dependency and intensive care. The
Department of Anaesthesia’s current medical establishment is 22 specialists,
including the Director, Visiting Medical Specialist, 11 Registrars / PHO/JCCA
trainee and 2 Residents. The Department is accredited for training of
registrars with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
Medical students from the Rural Clinical School, UQ rotate through the Department
of Anaesthesia. The position reports to the Director of Anaesthesia.
