Customs Admin / Shipping Admin / Logistics Admin / Order Processor – Retail Industry
Our client, a leading luxury retailer, is seeking for dynamic individuals to join them as:
Position 1: Customs Administrator / Shipping Admin / Logistic Admin
Responsibilities
• Monitor all new SKUs/Styles created in systems.
• Review SKU/Style details to determine appropriate Harmonised code.
• Reach out to Vendors when information in the system is not adequate to assign Harmonised code to new product.
• Update and maintain SKU regulatory database for reference.
• Monitor vendor documentation for correct submission of invoice/valuation information, marking, classification etc.
• Inter-face with internal customers to discuss and track requested changes to Harmonised codes previously assigned
• Execute sharp analysis and judgment of the SKU/Style to determine the applicable Harmonised code
Requirements
• Diploma in Shipping or Logistics preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in dealing with global regulatory requirements.
• Min. GCE ‘A’ levels with at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics companies, dealing with import and export operations and global regulatory requirements.
• Good knowledge of multi-national import and export regulatory requirements
• Possess multi-national product classification experience
• Good analytical ability
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project Management, Power point and Access Database is essential
Position 2: Order Processor
Responsibilities
• Follow up on purchase order acknowledgement with vendors
• Process purchase order amendments and invoice adjustments
• Follow up on open purchase orders
• Ensure invoice reconciliation is consistent with the agreed terms on the purchase order
Requirements
• GCE ‘O’ level, ‘A’ level or a Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in Sales/ Order Processing Depts.
• Knowledge of MS Excel & Word is essential
