Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the creation, conception, and execution of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns
• Provide a strong connection between the gaming community and the company, managing key aspects of communication, asset development and working to expand the game experience
• Be the eyes and ears of our brand
• Build and maintain our content distribution network by way of social media channels
• Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites
• Schedule and organize multiple departments which generate content on a daily basis
• Tag and title content, with an understanding of how the word’s chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content
• Manage and track link building campaigns, coordinated with all facets of our business
• Create and update daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields
• 2 to 3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
• Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc
• Understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
• Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects.
