Roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions
This Contractor has
several projects across Sydney and the Illawarra. They are looking for Foremen
/ Supervisors and Leading Hands on road, earthworks and subdivisions projects.
These projects are primarily mid sized civil infrastructure up to $50m and
typically run for a couple of years. The contractor has additional work in hand
going forward to keep you employed and in the area for the foreseeable future
hopefully working towards a role as a mor
e senior role in time. Build your

We are looking for
Foremen / Supervisors and Leading Hands as well other site staff who have the
experience running projects worth over $10m in value. These civil projects has
a significant earthworks, structures and heavy civil aspect to them, but
ideally you will have previous experience with roads, subdivisions, rail,
bridge, mining or heavy civil.
These roles are the
key site positions on the project team, reporting to, and working alongside the
Project Manager and Engineers, the success of this project will depend on you
and your experience delivering civil projects. You should have worked on a
civil project worth over $10m having a proven track record of on time delivery
and running a project to budget. Our client understands the importance of
having a strong Site General Foreperson who is a leader of people with high
level interpersonal skills and an ability to work with all stakeholders on a
major project.
To be successful
this role you should have;
- worked
on the civil project over $10m in value - have
exposure to major earthworks, heavy civil on a road, rail, mine project in
Australia - have
the ability to lead your Leading Hands running a project team of up to 40
people - an
understanding of drawings and technical specifications - ability
to develop and run a programme with a high level detailed planning - worked
with a tier one or tier two civil or building contractor - excellent
understanding of OH&S, environment and quality to ensure compliance to
project KPIs - proven
and excellent safety record from previous projects
This role is not
looking for just any Foreman / Supervisor, it is looking for experienced and
qualified foremen, site managers & supervisors who are looking to build a
career on projects and move to the next $30m project level. You will be
rewarded accordingly with a market high salary for the role.
