Overall Aim
The person would be assisting in winning and executing a wide range of corporate finance transactions including corporate advisory services (including valuations, fairness opinion reports, advice on fund raising and restructuring) and mergers and acquisition services.
CORPORATE FINANCE EXECUTIVES
Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
• Understand how and why value is added to clients through the deal process in pitching for new business, including development of pitch document
• Manage / develop detailed financial models and valuation scenarios to ascertain financial implication of transactions
• Handle the client on a day-to-day basis, supporting subordinates at client meetings and leading where appropriate
• Overseeing and providing quality review of valuation reports, fairness opinion reports, documents for fund raising, restructuring and disposals
• Managing and mentoring subordinates (depending on position)
• Research, analyse and identify key value drivers at a market and business level
Requirements:
• Continually display technical rigour, challenging and offering ideas and solutions
• Produce work to tight deadlines, often under pressure
• Absorb high volumes of technical knowledge of corporate finance and business sector quickly and use it effectively to pitch for new business, negotiations and discussions
• Experience in valuing companies using various methodologies
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Degree/Professional qualification preferably in Law, Finance, Accounting or related discipline. MBA and CFA charter holders are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Corporate Finance/ Accounting/ Management Consulting
