Teacher and Sports
Coordinator
Keep inventory of all equipment and sports kit, maintain, care for and oversee
the repair of any equipment as necessary, Deliver a regular and planned
programme of sports activities and games, Participate in collaboration with
other staff team members in running Bible Club and any other spiritual
activities in the project, Participate in regular child care review programmes,
Undertake maintenance and care of library facilities, Trace previous educational
records from children’s schools wherever possible, Ensure childre
n are given
assistance in developing their social skills and behaviour and are learning
non-violent ways of expressing themselves, Conduct regular planned and teaching
programmes relevant to the individual child including basic literacy and
informal education, Undertaking professional assessment of each child’s ability
and design a learning programme to meet their individual needs
As there are responsibilities to run a sports and recreation programme,
experience in different sports, drama, art and craft activities will be an
added advantage
Qualifications
– A minimum of T2 teaching certificate or a recognised teaching diploma with a
minimum of 2 yrs post qualification experience
