A major player within the banking and financial services sector is currently going through a raft of strategic business improvement projects focussed on their online platforms and consequently have an opportunity for a dynamic Online Development Manager to join their ranks.
Responsible for delivering the strategic roadmap of capabilities and functions across a major platform by capitalising on the latest industry trends and leading edge technologies you will be engaging a diverse business stakeholder audience across multiple work streams. A good balance of business acumen and technological understanding is therefore a must.
A dynamic, proactive and outcome focussed pragmatist, you will be able to demonstrate a good grasp of the bigger project picture in order to be the voice of reason to the business in delivering an outcome that is fit for purpose for all parties but ultimately leading to an improvement in useability and traffic levels.
Operating in a team environment which strongly encourages innovation and creativity an individual who is not afraid to challenge the status quo or push the envelope would be better suited. With this in mind previous financial services or banking experience is not essential as there may be strong benefits to be gained by bringing new ideas to the table from telco, digital media or related online / internet based arenas. Individuals progressing from a digital Product Manager or Product Analyst post may be a good fit.
Possessing a broad skill set covering both project management and business analyst type duties, the successful individual will also hold strong understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) and the latest web based technologies.
