Position Description:
CPAR Tanzania is looking for a well-organized, highly motivated and experienced
Nurse Midwife/Nursing Officer to join a dynamic team delivering mother, newborn
and child health training to traditional birth attendants and community health
workers in Bunda District, Mara Region.
Qualifications
– Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Nursing or Nursing Midwifery
– At least three years’ experience working with an International organization
in Maternal and Newborn Health
– Computer literate – Word, Excel, Email
– Ability to collect data and write reports
– Ability to prepare and manage workshop budgets
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Main Responsibilities
– Facilitating training of community health workers and traditional birth
attendants in a range of sexual and reproductive health topics, including
promotion of early access of health services by pregnant women; strengthening
role of men in safe delivery; family planning; nutrition; management of
children under five; gender equality; gender-based violence, etc.

– Liaising with Bunda District Council Health Management Team and health
facilities throughout the District
