CAMRIS International M&E Specialists, Monitoring & Evaluation Project Job Vacancy in Rwanda

Job Description:

CAMRIS is currently accepting CVs for an
anticipated USAID funded Monitoring and Evaluation Project. The project
will support the USAID/Rwanda Mission and partners in designing and
implementing monitoring and evaluation activities and managing and
communicating activity results. Areas of focus may include the quality of
project monitoring; enhancement of performance management and data
management/reporting systems; completion of multi-faceted evaluations;

dissemination
of evaluation results; and the provision of monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
capacity building within the mission as well as local and regional development
institutions, universities and non-governmental organizations (NGO).
Areas of particular expertise include Health and Economic Growth.

Primary Duties

Lead the review of project level M&E plans
Oversee and participate in evaluations and
assessments
Manage the design, quality, development and
completion of all assessments, analytical reports, and evaluations.
Support such technical work as reviewing
reporting methods and policies
Provide M&E training
Design reporting tools and performance
management plans;
Advise Development Objective teams on their
M&E work.

Desired Qualifications:

An advanced university degree in international
relations, economics, statistics, political science, public policy, or
other relevant field.
At least 5-10 years of experience in the
monitoring and evaluation of development projects, including indicator
development, data collection and analysis, data quality assessments,
and/or performance monitoring and reporting.
At least 2-5 years of demonstrated M&E
experience on USAID-funded projects, preferably in Rwanda.
Experience in creating and managing USAID
performance management plans.
Experience designing and implementing
performance and impact evaluations of development interventions.
Ability to provide expert guidance to
technical teams in developing and updating performance monitoring plans.
Familiarity with USAID policies related to
evaluation and performance management highly desirable.
Familiarity with data management and reporting
is highly desirable.
