Hello from Single O! Our Surry Hills café is
a place people come for a painstakingly well made coffee, a delicious seasonal
dish and a good dose of friendly service. We like to keep it real, we tend to
go hard (restless striving types) and we’re passionate about creating
exceptional coffee.
We are looking for a Cafe Manager to take the
lead with the day to day general management – food, people and potentially
coffee at Surry Hills.
In a nut-shell, this job is all about providing a memorable experience to our
customers and keeping things ship-shape so that the team are happy, motivated
and have fun as they showcase their craft.
In a bit more detail, the focus of this gig is establishing relationships with
customers (on the floor every day!), leading the team to deliver exceptional
service, coffee and food, and managing all the ‘people stuff” (rostering,
training, recruiting etc). You will also be responsible for working with key
internal partners (eg wholesale team, managers) to deliver on specific Single O
projects and events, as well as the maintain the space.
We are looking for someone highly passionate (and knowledgeable) about coffee
and service. A serious hospo guru. A bit of a foodie. All of the above! And you
must also be super organized and like to solve problems.
