CA Global: Africa / International Positions have a client that is in need of a “Sous Chef” (Culinary / Hospitality). The project will be in Liberia
Overview:
Looking for skilled candidate with team player attitude; in addition to having leadership attributes to lead the rest of the staff in providing culinary service and excellence for Hotel guests.

Duties:
§ Reports to Executive Chef complying with policy and procedure
§ Previous Hotel experience in 4-star environment with superior cooking skills
§ Responsible for food and ingredients preparation for the Chef
§ Supervise all kitchen stations and capable of running shift on your own in absence of Head Chef
§ Maintain cleaning and maintenance standards of associated areas
§ Assist in keeping the kitchen properly stocked with food and utensils
§ General accounting/ technical skills relevant to kitchen/sale applications
§ Promote quality awareness and insure commitment in promoting high quality standards for the hotel
§ Able to operate without supervision
§ Adhere to all safety, sanitation and nutritional practices that are followed by each kitchen employee
(*) Additional duties of responsibilities shall be communicated at a later stage!

Requirements:
Education : Accredited certification from a Culinary School/ Training (or Apprenticeship)
Experience : 5-10 years relevant experience in hospitality industry as a Sous Chef
Minimum : 3 years in Food preparation position

Documents required: HACCP
Necessary Food Handlers Certificate (Food Safety and Sanitation)
Food Hygiene Certificates
Valid Nutrition courses
Supervisory Management education
Valid passport
