Broadsheet Media is
looking for a smart and switched on Marketing Manager to lead the strategic
development and roll out of our marketing program.
The Role
It is the role of
the Marketing and Communications Manager to work across the Broadsheet Media
brands – Broadsheet and Scout – to identify opportunities, develop and
implement strategies to grow the brands’ awareness, influence and
audience.
Our marketing
activity encompasses everything from PR, partnerships with Australia’s top tier
events, festivals and cultural institutions such as the NGV, Sydney Festival
and Australian Ballet, to pop-up restaurants and above the line advertising.
This role will bring
in-house marketing expertise and strategic integration into the business’
activities and projects to ensure their success.
Responsibilities
Liaising with the
business department heads and the Publisher you will develop an integrated
marketing plan that encompasses communications, media partnerships, content,
social media, advertising and events.
- Communications:
Working with our communications agency, to drive the awareness and
influence of our projects in the media. - Media
Partnerships: Build new and existing partnerships with some of Australia’s
best events and cultural institutions; ensuring each partnership delivers
the maximum value for our partners and audience. - Content
and Social: Working alongside our editorial team across our existing
content and social channels to support campaigns and projects. - Advertising:
Running our above-the-line activity to ensure it’s innovative, on brand,
strategic and targeted - Events
and Special Projects: Working with our special projects team to bring to
life event and pop-up projects from concept development through to driving
attendance and ticket sales.
Experience
- Minimum
of 5 years experience in a similar role - Proven
ability to drive results using owned and earned channels without reliance
on large media budgets. - Proven
ability to achieve acquisition and growth KPIs - Capable
of working across platforms and channels - An
exceptional eye for branding and design - Solid
understanding of digital media and the wider media landscape - Negotiation,
optimisation and management of partnerships
