Requirements
Job Summary
To promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace, ensuring that
all comply with safety legislation, and that the safety policies and practices
are developed, adopted and adhered to.
The
candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering
and implementing health and safety across the campuses - Ensuring
that the policies and procedures are in place - Compiling
and reporting of accident and incident reports and provide advice on how
to prevent reoccurrence - Promoting
and undertaking training within the organization - Responsible
for SHE audits (including risk assessments) and records - You
will also need to ensure that safety standards are implemented to promote
a safe working and learning environment - Perform
any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Integrated Facilities
Manager
Minimum
Requirements
- +5
years’ experience of H&S, Fire & management in an educational
environment; - Health
& Safety qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH) with specific on us on HSE and
Fire Safety - Membership
of relevant body i.e. NAHFO - A
proven track record of effective people and operations management - Must be
able to demonstrate competency and have a good knowledge of the latest
legislations within health and safety - Must be
able to demonstrate good working practices and have an effective and
forward thinking approach to finding solutions
